A Testament to Faith and Resilience
Siuntio Church caught fire in 1617 and was damaged badly. In connection with the fire in 1617, King Gustaf II Adolf of Sweden wrote a letter on October 29 of the same year to the bailiff in the Raseborg county. In the letter, he ordered that 6 barrels of grain be taken from the king's storehouse to aid in the repair of Siuntio Church.
