The Swords

Explore the fascinating history of the swords once displayed at St. Peter's Church.

On the south wall of Siuntio church, there were two swords, hung in memory of two Swedish officers who were buried in the church in 1788. These officers were Colonel Tersmeden and Captain Bong.

The swords were donated to the Finnish Antiquarian Society in 1871.
